I couldn't be happier with my re-roofing experience with Stalcup. My roof turned out great and I don't feel like I overpaid. I even met Jay, the owner - who came out to check on the job during and followed up after to walk the roof and ensure I was satisfied. You just can't beat small business customer service! I ended up getting 7 different quotes for the job with the Stalcup quote at the lower end (not the lowest though). The big difference up front is with the sales experience. Vick was fantastic in this regard and a breath of fresh air from the high-pressure sales experiences I got from the big outfits. Which by the way were all my highest quotes. I won't name names but some of their tactics were quite shady and frankly off-putting - I was told I'd had leaks in the past and emerging mold issues that needed to be addressed ASAP and most likely would need a dozen or so pieces of plywood replaced to fix. However, I inspect my attic often as that's always been a fear of mine and I've never seen mold or leaks. So I dodged these outfits and now feel VERY vindicated by the fact that the team that worked on my roof (Daniel and crew) didn't find any either during the roofing project. to sum up, definitely a happy customer and would use these guys again for any future roofing needs.

The quote Dan offered reflected that. Daniel and his crew executed a hard job in terrible weather. Jay was onsite communicating with me about the progress on the job. Vikk and Daniel, along with the rest of crew are a stand up team. They did a wonderful job tearing off a couple layers of old shingles along with some original wood shingles in some parts of the roof, laying down and repairing the decking, and installing a modern roof on a house that needed an overhaul. Vikk’s knowledge and the time he spent making sure we understood our options, the importance of ventilation, and not putting pressure on us to do anything that wasn’t absolutely necessary sold us, on top of a referral from neighbors whose parents had also used Stalcup and were very happy with them. We really appreciated how the job was quoted, with necessities clearly separated from optional upgrades. There was some momentary confusion about the placement of a few intake vents near a couple sections of flat roof and they made it right. The owner Jay came out himself to take care of it on a holiday weekend since we had the project completed right before July 4th. We highly recommend Stalcup Roofing.

We highly recommend Stalcup Roofing! This company did it right, right from the beginning. The estiamate was timely (Jay couldn't be a more pleasant guy); the color decision was easy; the workers were efficient, pleasant and tidy. They completely resheeted the roof, and still they were done in three days. It's not often these days that we feel like we get our money's worth for goods or services, but we were thrilled to pay for our new roof. An affordable and quality job!

Purchased a house and our roof was shot. We thought we'd have more time with it but unfortunately we needed a new one. Stalcup was highly recommended to us and they lived up to their high praise. Vikk made it out very fast for an estimate, walked me through the process and options very clearly. He didn't try to pressure me into anything and explained where I could save money on some of the items. I was very pleased with how quickly they were able to schedule their team to come out, and the entire process of tearing off our old roof and putting on a new one only took 2 days. My real estate/contractor friends recommended we get a quote from Stalcup after learning how much the first company quoted us. Stalcup was using the exact same Owens Corning roofing system and came in at about 35% less. Vikk was communicative and helpful, and Daniel, the head of the crew that did the roof was very friendly and professional. And the crew that did the gutters was also great and were able to replace some rotten wood to the gutters attached properly.

Stalcup did an incredible job repairing the roof of my home and garage. Not only did they offer a warranty, but they called before the end of the warranty to make sure that my repairs were holding up. For that reason, I can't recommend them enough

We've used Stalcup Roofing twice this year--once to repair roof damage after an ice and wind storm, and this spring for moss treatments and gutter cleaning. Both times the representatives (Jay and Mark) who visited, inspected, and created estimates were timely, polite, and thorough. The work was done promptly and well, and after the second visit Mark came back to inspect the work done and ensure I was happy with everything (I am). I truly appreciate the care for their work and their ability to deliver a service in an efficient manner. I would use Stalcup again in a heartbeat.

Stalcup is the bomb. Quick, efficient, super polite and his team does excellent work. NJ is very communicative and will let you know if there is a delay or obstruction in a timely manner -- if you know contractors you understand just how HUGE a deal this is. Rain happens here.

HAPPY WITH OUR CHOICE Stalcup did some work for us several years ago and we were amazed at their willingness to respond to our emergency in such a quick fashion. They just completed re-roofing our home and we are happy to say that their dedication to excellence has not changed. My son is a former roofing foreman and worked for several large roofing companies. Stalcup gets a thumbs up from him so I would say that says quite a lot. From our initial estimate through completion Jay was hands on. He was the only estimator that actually went up into our attic during his estimate review. His estimate was detailed and each phase was detailed and well itemized. We asked for some extra things that are not usually included in his scope of work and he was more than willing to oblige those requests. We replaced our Cedar Shake roof with composite and from strip down to completed roof and clean up, it only took them two days. The crew arrived at daylight and worked until it was dark. They are respectful, hard working, focused, efficient, and skilled at what they do. Jay takes personal ownership over the quality of work that his crews perform. He is patient, kind, and responsive. If something isn't right, he will address it personally to insure that desired outcomes are achieved. Final words regarding your roofing project: Do not hesitate to consider Stalcup Roofing for your roofing project. Remember to manage your expectations. This is not a mess free job! Stalcup will protect your siding but you must secure decorative items around your home to protect them. Construction is construction and stuff happens!
